About the Artist
Annie Mathews was born in Annapolis, MD, and was raised between Upper Marlboro and the Eastern Shore of Maryland, where she resides with her husband and two children. She began sketching at a young age, working with pencil, charcoal, sepia, pen & ink and oil. Her passion, however, turned to water colors, which she has been working with for several years now.
In addition to working with her husband in his boat-building business, Annie began using her artwork to create customized note cards at the request of friends and family. These went over so well that she was soon asked to expand her note card line to include holiday cards, thank you cards, sympathy cards, and invitations.
Annie, as Arts in the A.M. also does commissioned artwork. All of the note cards in this brochure were created from original artworks by the artist. All artwork is created by Annie Mathews and can not be re-created in any way.
